The P1 steps up from entry-level scanning with a 360°x59° LiDAR head rated to 70m range, built-in multi-constellation GNSS for RTK/PPK-accurate positioning, and 512GB of onboard memory so operators are not tethered to a laptop between setups. Real-time point cloud preview and processing keeps quality checks on site rather than back at the office, and Continue Scanning / Hyperdense+ modes make it straightforward to fill in gaps or densify tricky areas without re-running a whole capture. It also accepts an external Insta360 X3 camera for full 360° video capture alongside the point cloud. FJD's own customer data shows the P1 handling high-rise and demolition scan-to-BIM work at pace — a solid mid-tier choice for AEC and survey teams who need dependable, all-day handheld scanning with integrated positioning.
